WELCOME WOMEN FLY FISHERS (including beginners)

NORMALLY 4th THURSDAY EACH MONTH 4 pm (Check the calendar)
DAN GALVIN PARK CASTING POND, SANTA ROSA

Women's Russian River Fly Fishers Fly Casting Clinics are open to the public.
The instruction is being provided by experienced and trained RRFF Instructors.  It includes rod and reel set up, knot tying, answering fly fishing questions, assessing individual casting abilities and providing instruction.  In addition to the Women's Clinics, women are welcome to attend the RRFF Fly Casting Clinics which are open to RRFF members and the general public every Thursday night from 4:30 - 7:00p.m.

Women's RRFF are planning one day fishing trips in the near future.  More experienced women fly fishers are encouraged to complete the RRFF Fly Casting Instructor's Clinics so they will be able to provide instruction along with the existing instructors.

The first Women's RRFF Fly Casting Clinic (03/24/2023) was successful, helpful and inspiring!!!  It was totally heartwarming for 13 women to gather together at the casting pond as part of our fly casting journey.  It was a complete joy to get to know each other better and to receive outstanding individualized mentoring from experienced RRFF members.

Photos may be taken during the clinics and fishing outings.  They may be published on the RRFF and Google Websites and in the newsletter, The Cast.  Please let us know if you prefer not to be included in these photos.

We hope to see you at our upcoming clinics.  This is a wonderful opportunity for camaraderie with other women who enjoy fly fishing.
