active donation projects
The Russian River Fly Fishers Board has for years made annual donations to various organizations consistent with our club objectives and as limited by the size of our resources which rely on the success of our fundraising activities (primarily the annual dinner).
This year so far we plan or have approved donations to five organizations serving northern California: Casting for Recovery (breast cancer/flyfishing), Steelhead in the Classroom (children/environmental), Reel Recovery (men's cancer/flyfishing), Healing waters (veterans/flyfishing), Mayfly Project (foster kids/flyfishing).
